Located just 400 meters from the Hotel are Chivas Brothers, the owner of Strathisla Distillery. Their portfolio includes the Scotch whisky and premium gin business of Pernod Ricard which boasts a huge portfolio of many wellknown brands such as Ballantine’s, Beefeater Gin, The Glenlivet, Royal Salute, Aberlour, Longmorn, Scapa, 100 Pipers, Clan Campbell, Something Special, Passport, as well as Chivas Regal and Strathisla.

Also a very popular location for wedding photography.

Chivas Regal was created in 1909. The recipe, of course, is a well kept secret but the character and essence of the blend is very much based on Speyside malts.

Founded in 1786, Strathisla Distillery is not only the oldest working distillery in the Highlands of Scotland, but is considered by many to be the most beautiful in Scotland.

The tradition of whisky making can be seen at first hand at this ancient distillery making it one of the most popular distilleries on the Malt Whisky Trail.
